Gum Disease Is The Common Reason For Receding Gums
We may not realize it but the common reason for receding gums in the latter life is gum disease. The silent gum disease can strike on patients over the age of 30 and make destruction on the supporting bones which is holding the teeth in place. The teeth become loose eventually, the recession becomes more apparent as the supporting bone tissue is rapidly lost. This condition can cause the exposed root surfaces from the lost gums become sensitive to hot and cold substances and very susceptible to root caries which is a special type of tooth decay. To make it worse, an older person makes less protective saliva and often complains of a dry mouth. The use of an at home natural receding gum care product can significantly decrease the tooth sensitivity and can protect the roots of tooth from decay.
